Over the last few years Eldad has done so much to raise awareness about animal rescue. His organization helps creatures who can鈥檛 help themselves. Dogs are intelligent, sweet, funny, lovely, loyal and a friend for lifetime. Please share this and help us raise awareness all over the world about adopting animals from shelters and rescues.

Hope For Paws received a call about a homeless senior dog. Carlos had seen our rescue video of Jordan and knew he could call us for help.

Carlos led the way to the dog鈥檚 hiding spot. She was sleeping under the leave shades, quietly.

Eldad deceided the best approach was to try and sneak up on her. The dense vegetation made it difficult for Eldad to get his gentle snare around her.

Working quietly, Eldad managed to loop her leg without waking her up. But this may not be enough to secure her. As Eldad was about to try and place his leash around her, she woke up.

She was a big girl. A little confused, at first.

She became uneasy. As Lisa Arturo placed the leash around her, she got bitten. After she gave Lisa a bite, she looked at her.

She tried to get away and couldn鈥檛 keep trying to fight. Eldad decided to let her run and they lead her towards their cars.

She suddenly collapsed and wouldn鈥檛 move. Eldad was concerned about her and moved her to the shade.

Not knowing if she was in shock or just panicking, they gave her a few minutes to calm down. Lisa suggested they name her Dorothy. After about 20 minutes with them, Dorothy began to relax.

Dorothy was taken to the car, she was quiet. And it was time to head to the hospital to get Dorothy examined, and Lisa too, to get the bite wound treated.

At the hospital, Dorothy received much needed medical care. From there, Dorothy went to train with Masumi Hara and her team, so she could learn to trust humans.

A few weeks later, Dorothy came to visit us before going to her foster.

Now that she feels safe, Dorothy is so sweet and loving.

A few days later, she went to foster with Frosted Faces.

Please share and help Dorothy a loving forever home.

Please consider opening your heart and your home to a senior dog.

That may not have a lot of years left to live, but they have a lot of love to give.
