Ducks are common water birds, and may be found in both fresh water and sea water. A male duck is called a drake and the female duck is called a duck, or in ornithology a hen. Dabbling ducks are interesting. They feed on the surface of water or on land, or as deep as they can reach by up-ending without completely submerging.
A common urban legend claims that duck quacks do not echo; however, this has been shown to be false. But it did be a symbol of Isis, the Egyptian goddess who was a patron of nature and magic. Please enjoy the free life of ducks. Enjoy their leisure.
